Jamaica has more than 600 species of ferns, and many of them can be seen in Fern Gully. You can drive through this old creekbed south of Ocho Rios. (Don't touch the plant life: In the 1960s and '70s, Fern Gully was almost decimated by cutting-happy tourists.) The road is lined with craft stalls.
